May is a time of celebration and remembrance.  On May 11^th we’ll celebrate Mother’s Day, a special day to thank and honor mothers for all they do every day.  As Memorial Day approaches on May 26^th we give pause to remember all of the heroes who gave of themselves so that we may enjoy the bounty and freedom of living in America.

May is also a time when many of our seasonal friends return to the North and we wish them a fun filled summer and will look forward to their return next season.  Whether you’re in Naples or in a distant city you can always keep current on the Lely and Naples real estate market by clicking on the Market Trends page on our website.

On a positive note, we have witnessed some encouraging buying signs and we feel that the worst of the down market may be behind us. With mortgage interest rates still fairly low, baby boomers beginning to retire in numbers, we are optimistic about increasing home sales in Naples in 2009.
