People can fake a lot of things in life, but they can't fake being genuine. They may get away with faking sincerity every once in a while, because sincerity is mostly just a voice inflection. If they sound sincere, people will usually believe that they are.
They can't sound genuine, however, because being genuine is a full-fledged character trait. They can't put it on like a smile or fall into it like a mood. It can seen in someone's eyes and felt in their presence.
From time to time, we are pleased to say, customers tell us that one of the things they like about us is that we are a very genuine people. We consider this to be one of my most important character traits.
Congratulations! Naples was listed as the 10th “Healthiest Hometowns” in the September/October 2008 AARP Magazine.
